Guess What?

I am in training tonight until midnight... to be a work at home agent!!!  Yes - that is right... no more 3 hours on the road every day .. no more driving in bad weather..no more dirty bathrooms..  Sadly - I will miss seeing my friends though.  BUT - the good way outweighs the bad in this situation!

Julie, I have a question and would appreciate your answer since I know you are schooled in horses. I have been feeding the neighbors horse for 2 years (they neglected it) and due to their divorce, agreed to buy it from them. Gracie is about 4 years old. I can get a halter on her, but really know nothing about her. She recently bit the fire out of me and in reading many books, think she is trying to assert her dominance over me. I really don't have a clue how to trainer her and would not be physically able to do so. My question is this, I have had no luck in finding a trainer for her and wondered if you know of any humane, experienced trainers in Oklahoma. Two of my books and one former trainer advised to sell her. I don't want to, but she also lunged and snapped at my three year old grandson and is pushy. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Best of luck...sometimes its nice to slow down and see and think about things you were too busy to notice, or at least I have found this to be the case with me. Good luck!
