I have been scouring the Internet for pictures that inspire me. I do it in part because it is fun, but also for a very good reason. It is much easier to show the builder (also an architect) that we work with exactly what I want. If I have a picture of say these beautiful shutters...

it is less likely that things will be done wrong.. in my eyes at least. Trust me when I say it is best to stay on very good terms with your builder!
So, anyway - I just love the way the shutters make these homes look unconditionally FRENCH!
