..and Then There Were Four..

.. I wish I could say that more chicks hatched, but out of 18 eggs we only hatched out 4 chicks. I am not sure why, but 5 never developed, 1 only started to grow, 7 stopped growing even after the last candling revealed that they were still thriving and 1 died as it was trying to hatch. But the 4 we have are ADORABLE!!!

They are so cute!! I can't imagine how hard the hatching process would be! We got ours after the hatching... They are so cute though. I can't wait to see them grow!

I think 4 is a great outcome for the first try. I did that when I was a kid and it was just devastating to me to know that some of them did not make it but it's very hard in an incubator. I have no doubt that you will perfect the system and end up with bundles and bundles of yellow fuzzies.
