Joy and Zeus..

This is my youngest daughter Joy and her huge dog Zeus..Zeus was a rescued Mastiff and it was love at first sight for them. Sadly - this post is in honor of Zeus. He had to be put down yesterday. Joy cried.. The vet cried... and even the vet tech cried....

Joy - sometimes the best choices are the most difficult ones. I love you Sweetie.

So sorry about Zeus, such a great heartache to part with a beloved animal and such a hard decision to have to make.

My heart is heavy as I look at the photo of 'girl and dog' ....
It's never easy.

Take care ~ all of you!

I am offering sympathy to Joy for what must have been a very hard thing to do.

I'm so sorry for Joy. Zeus looks like he was a sweet dog. :(

What happened? I will call her later today just in case she had to work.

Oh how sad. We had a bull mastiff for many years, the sweetest dog ever (but just with us). The boys named him "Fat Boy" because he was so HUGE. He was so protective and I think in his mind he thought he was a small dog :) He died when I was out of town during one summer and then my sweet corgi Sally died that Fall. They are so much like family arent' they.

Oh my, hugs to your daughter... same thing here when I had to put my 12 year old dalmatian down several years ago... the vet tech held me and cried too! I know how painful this is... it truly is one of the hardest decisions we face in life.

Thanks for popping by my photo blog! :)
