An Interesting Morning....

On my way to work this morning, I saw something on the side of the road. I was only about a mile down the road from our farm. It was big and black. At first I thought someone had lost something large off the back of their truck...until I got closer...and saw that it was a huge cow that had obviously been hit by a car! Ewwwwweeeeeeee...

Then not 1 mile past that, something orange ran out in front of my car. I hit it. It happened so fast I did not even have time to respond. I turned the car around to go and see.... OMG - I feel horrible. I hit a cat. No tags or collar and just open fields around.

Don is going for an ultrasound appointment today. He has to have them for the rest of his life since he is high risk for liver cancer. That has me on edge...and if that were not enough - he awoke me this morning thinking he had blood in his urine. I started to get up to look when he told me that he flushed the toilet
:0\ I tried not to sound agitated. If he did, it likely means that his platelet count is low again....

Please stop and say a prayer for him.... Hugs

What a stressful morning. I'm sorry it has started out so hectic. I hope things settle in and aren't as bad as they seem. Hoping and praying for the best for you and Don. Sorry about the cat, but I know you couldn't help it! Hugs.

Of course you're on edge! Bless both your hearts....I am saying a prayer for Don. It is always comforting to me to know God is ultimately in control!

I stopped and said a prayer for him. I am literally going through the same thing with my Mom who lives with us. (They know we're supposed to see the blood they pass)! It makes you crazy somedays, doesn't it? You think you're on the same page, everyone understands what is happening and what is to be done, and then -whoosh- it's all out the window and you have to remind them and start at square one again. I'm sure it is much worse with it being your husband (don't know how I could cope with that)... just wanted you to know that someone else is going through the same things even as you "speak" (write).

Hugs,
Sheila

Bad things come in threes - first the cow, then the cat, and finally the issue with the urine. No more bad!

I said a little prayer for you too! Hang in there :).
