Emily took him into the day clinic and they told her it was nothing more than a bug bite. His 'bug bite' increased in size and his fever increased. Apparently they were wrong. Trestin is now in the hospital. He has a staff infection. They operated on him, opening it up and removing the infected tissue. He is still running a fever and it just breaks my heart. When Emily calls, I can hear him whimpering in the back ground. Please stop for a moment and pray for Trestin right now. Staff infections can get out of hand quickly.

Urgent Prayer Request!
I was planning on posting some cute pictures today from a camping trip that Emily, Daren, Madison and Trestin took this last weekend...like this one...
but instead I am sending out a prayer request for this little guy - Trestin. When they returned home, Trestin had a whelp on his thigh. Oh no....poor guy. I sure hope he recuperates fast. Yes, staff infections can be dangerous. Will say a prayer for him.

Prayers from here. I know staph infections are bad, but thank Goodness they have identified the problem and are treating it. Poor little guy. I hope he gets better very quickly. He sure is a cutie!

Staph infections are not fun. In 2006 both hubby and I struggled with them on and off from Jan to Aug before we finally got rid of them for good. Hubby almost landed in the hospital with his twice. I was more fortunate that they did not get as serious on me. Will pray for Trestin. Hope he is better soon.
my prayer has been sent up! I prayed that the infection and fever would disappear over night and that angels would stay by his bedside and keep him comfortable and that Gods hand would be on him and his parents.. as well as the doctors that they would be wise and make good choices to aid in his quick recovery.
