This is my oldest daughter Emily and her husband Daren. They are expecting their second baby in exactly one month.
This is their first munchkin and soon to be Big Sister - Madison.
Here is the adorable cake that one of their friends had made for the couples shower. I love the way that the writing is on the side of the cake!
I wanted to give you a peek into Trestins nursery. It is still a project in the works - but it is coming along so nicely! This is the sign that will hang on his door.
This is the Nautica sail boat patterned crib set they chose...okay - so I got to help pick it out too the last time I was visiting!
She found a replica of a ship wheel that looks so precious on the wall! They stained it to match the crib and dresser.
Here is what it looks like hanging above the changing table with 2 sail boat wall plaques.
This is the valence in matching fabric. Emily came up with the wonderful idea to have the curtains (which are not done yet) tied back with white cotton rope! I can't wait to see the finished project.

Cute, well now you can add the pictures of the curtains I just sent you.
I love the name and love the theme! I also love your pics of your new horse! He is stunning!
That is going to be the cutest nursery...well it's already cute but I can picture those curtains! They really have cute stuff for boys now. I'm finally getting the urge to be a Grandma but I'm still waiting on my daughter. At least she's on the way to being engaged. I'm figuring I have about 3-4 years to go.;-)
Julie, what a beautiful Madison. I too have a boy and girl gc, but I would love to see my 37 year old settle down and have a baby, because the others aren't going to. The nursery is adorable. Decorating children's rooms is one of my favs to do. My kids had the coolest rooms and one was a western them, and I used my dad's branding iron and chow triangle in the room. Can't wait to see the new baby. Hugs, Pat
How sweet! I am so excited that it is a boy!!!
Hugs,
Amy
