Good Morning Julie,
I'm sorry to hear that Emily, Daryn, and Madison are leaving to go home. I know you will miss them very much and I know it will be boring without them. I know when our girls go spend the night with my Parents or my Sister, even tho I do enjoy the quietness, I do miss them. I read your previous post about the Government wanting to take your farmland. That is so sad and I bet you are just sick about it. My feeling on this is that the Government don't care about the people, all they care about is making a dollar for themselves. I hope I didn't offend you by saying that. I have somethings for you on my post for today. I do hope you will stop by and pick them up when you have time. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Dear Julie, that shot tells the story, beautifully!

I am so sorry to hear about what is happening with your farm. J's cousin is facing the same thing...Hwy 61, also known as the Avenue of the Saints, because it runs north to MN, from St Louis, is building a new whatever, that will pass right over/through their lovely ground and home. They have horses, also. Highways and "improvement" was one of our concerns, when we were living on the farm. It was along the same road, hwy 61. A rumor of improvement was going around for several years. In the end, that was one of the reasons why we sold when we did. Still no improvements there, but always the possibility.

You are right about the "fair" market value. I am so upset this is happening to you and your farm.
