Warning!!!

Next week I will be posting about my after the holidays diet. Every year I gain about 3-6 pounds over the holidays (This year is no exception!) and I do NOT get angry with myself about it anymore. I just take care of the extra weight in January. If you are interested in joining me, please feel free to start posting your most successful diet tips!

Good Morning Julie,
I hear ya on the diet thing. I'm a plus sized Woman and I just can't seem to lose any weight at all. And the Holiday's don't help matters at all. LOL. I don't have any diet tips except to walk alot. I would like to hear about your diet and maybe I can go with that and try it. "THANKS" for the heads up on our upcoming diet plan. Take care my friend and have a great Friday. May God Bless You and Yours.

Hugs,
Karen H.

I have gained so much this year. I am really gonna get busy after New Years. i know most people think this is nutty, but I am one the truely thinks a good cleanse after all the junk is in us. I do the first three days of the cabbage diet( those are the cleaning days) and then start Weight Watchers style diet.

Hi Julie,
Instead of going on a diet this year I'm going to put my focus on getting healthy. I usually opt for the quick fix - atkins, low carb, even weight watchers but I always slide back into my old routines. So, I'm going to try and change those routines and create new ones this year! Looking forward to watching your journey.

Have a wonderful weekend and blessed NEW YEAR!!!

Diets just don't work for me. I always crave the foods that I've told myself I can't have. I love sugar, so if I can just stay away from sweets it will be a lot easier to get off the 8 pounds I gained during Christmas.

I also take a yoga class twice a week and try to walk two miles a day when I can.

Hey, Julie, I think I need to drop about 5, so I will be back to my steady routine of eating less & getting more time in the gym. I think this year was worse than ever with the sweets!

Looks like a fun Christmas as your house. What pretty place settings you had for Christmas Eve.

As for taking down the decorations, they are down, just have to get the bins back to the attic! Can't wait to get this house cleaned up now.

Happy New year, thanks for always stopping by & for being a good friend!

xo,
Rhoda

Hi Julie, oh my this is us too!! Now we don't panic anymore wither. What we do is clear out the pantry after January 1at of all those goodies. Then we replace with freah foods and low-fat snacks only at the next supermarket visit. And an extra long walk at night with the dogs too! No diet seems to work!! Happy New Year Julie !
