Ohh - Just a Beech Kat posted this wonderful simple cookie idea in her December 2006 blog. I loved it so much I wanted to have it stored away in my blog and we all know how crazy I am about Christmas!
Craft or Recipe? During the Christmas season ~ What can you do with a bored child, a tube of premixed sugar cookie dough, a bag of pretzels and some red and brown candies? You don't even need a recipe - just the picture!

Hey Julie! Thanks for stoping by my blog. What a great idea for the holidays. My daughter would love to make these. Love your blog and the pic of your home is lovely.
Love your blog! Thanks for taking the time to visit mine...
The cookies are so sweet, and I love your home.
Have a blissful day...
Too cute mommy!
Julie...it was me. I posted about them back on 12/13/06. I've been making these forever it seems. My kids loved to make them. Now, I make them to take to my neighbor's children. Very easy. I think I originally found the recipe/idea in Southern Living. Just slice the cookie and then pinch the bottom to form a "chin" before baking.
Hugs!
Kat
What a cute cookie!
You asked about the butter in my ham and cheese pie. The crust was made from the ready made crescent rolls in the refrigerator section so probably lots of the hydronated fat! You could easily make your own crust for it though!

That is too cute!
Later, in early October, I'll be hosting my 2nd annual Holiday Cooking, Blogger Style recipe exchange. I hope you'll participate by posting this! :)
By the way, thanks for your sweet comments on my blog today! I do appreciate hearing from you.
