Happy St. Patrick's Day..and

Happy Thirty-Nineteen birthday to me!

Remember those cute baby chicks?? You know.. the ones I purchased over the Internet so that I could get the specific type (Columbian Rock) and coloring that I wanted? Remember?? the ones that kept me from getting hardly any sleep because I was always worried about the temperature and humidity in the incubator??? Yeah - THOSE CHICKS! Well - here they are. Ummm - notice anything funny?

Yeah - me too~! One is solid black, one is a barred rock coloring, one is solid white and only one is colored the way that it is suppose to be .. white with black feather on its tail feathers and around its neck. HUFFFFFF!

Julie, have you ordered from Ideal Poultry in Cameron, TX? That is the only place I get my chicks..of course, I don't get the honor of hatching them out myself but they do have healthy birds and guarantee them. I must say, the white one with the black flecks is very pretty.
