Don's varaces operation went well yesterday. They banded off 4 spots. I was hoping they could have done 6 so that he would not have to come back so many times.. but all is well.
We got settled into a room in the afternoon and I crashed on a lay away bed! Much more comfortable than all the sofas and chairs I have slept on in the past!!
We are scheduled to go home this afternoon, but as of yet, Don has not been allowed to eat solid food. He is still on clear liquids. He is experiencing quite a bit of pain when he swallows.

glad everything went well. I hope he is feeling better quickly. I can imagine how that must hurt his throat.
