My girlfriends and I went on a Christmas Home Tour this weekend and saw some wonderful Bed and Breakfast establishments as well as some amazing Christmas decor. This was something though that I am going to incorporate into our decorating (next year!) If you have large concrete urns - like these..
Buy a simple or decorated wreath, 18" will work for the ones we have, and place it flat on top fo the urn. Then purchase a very large outdoor ornament and place it in the center of the wreath. They have become popular in the last couple of years. You may need to secure these into the urn if it is windy where you live. I loved the way it looked .. only just for me - I plan on using red ornaments instead of the gold ones used in this picture.

Hi sweet friend! It's good to be back home from our NY trip and I'm enjoying myself as I visit my blog friends to see what everyone has been doing while I was away.
You've been a busy girl. I'm sorry though that Don had to have such a scary procedure. I hope the results are good.
Hugs,
Kat
Thanks for commenting on my blog! I have an urn almost exactly like that, but just have pine cones thrown in it. This would look much more elegant!
