.. that a chicken can "fart"! Well it is true..sort of!
You see, every once in a while a chicken lays an unusually small egg as seen in the above picture.. and one of our hens did just this last week. These strange little things are called "Farts"! Although this is not a picture of our hens egg, which are brown, it is approximately the same size as the one she laid. Most of the time, there is no yoke in these eggs..
Just something for enquiring minds..or bored people!

I love those! I blew out all the ones our hens laid and saved them. The last time Mom got one, she gave it to me, and I "rediscovered" it in the fridge over a year later. Whoops.
Nope, I didn't know that hens laid 'farts'... kinda funny and very cute. love the 'petiteness' of it :)
