My Father..

has a big set back and is back in ICU. He has been there since last Tuesady. He also got into a bit of emotional stress ... starting to lose his will to live. After draining off quite a bit of fluid out of his lungs - he is doing better. He has a long road to recovery. If he will just stay the coarse and do with the doctors tell him to do... he CAN recover. I have been staying with him...boy is that chair/bed thing they have for family members uncomfortable! I came back to the farm this weekend because my brother Tom came in from Fort Worth. I don't know what is planned for next week yet...

Signing off to go to bed...in my own bed - for tonight anyway...

I so hope he finds the strength and will to pull out of this. Bless his heart...sometimes when us OLDEN people get sick, it just wears you out to fight. Hopefully, his strength will see him thru.
hugs, bj

Hi Julie

I just stopped and prayed for your Dad...and YOU. I've added you both to my prayer journal too.

Hugs,
Kat

Oh Julie, I am so sorry. You are dealing with so much right now. I will be praying. Wish we lived closer to one another. I pray God gives you strength and your dad returned good health. Hope Don is alright during all of this. It's must seem overwhelming but remember you are never alone. xoxo Dianne

I am so sorry Julie. Last year I went for a visit my mom for a week in early August and didn't come home until Christmas. I spent months sleeping on the chair/bed thing yearning for a hot shower and fresh clothing.

I'm praying that things will get better for your family soon.

I hope you're dad gets his strength back and can find a little joy in his life. It's so hard when you're in so much pain to want to go on. I pray he'll recover soon. Hang in there.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that Julie. I sure hope he will make a full recovery. I know it's hard on all of you.
I just got home this afternoon from Vegas and wanted to check in with you to see how you are doing.
