What's Next?

So after our last doctors appointment and finding out about the Viral Load count, we were given the name and phone number of another doctor. Our current doctor is a Liver, Colon, Stomach specialist. The new doctor is a Liver, Infectious Disease and Liver Transplant specialist. Although for now, we will still see our original doctor, our first scheduled appointment with the new one is on May 18th.

Don't you hate waiting for an appointment? I hope the visit will go well with the new dr.

Nice to know a specialist dedicated to liver disease is on the case .....

AND, daughter's new home is really nice. I love AZ and just may live there one day ~ to escape cold and snow forever.

I will be praying for you and Don during the next few weeks...I know they will have some encouraging news for you...our prayers will be answered! In the meantime...tell Don to drink lots of water (I'm sure he is thirsty all the time anyway, my hubbin was during his treatment) but that did help him w/his skin irritations...plus he used Neutrogena Sesame Oil (nonscented) straight out of the bottle after each shower. He would apply it before he completely towelled off. He also, lost lots of weight and he couldn't have certain foods b/c he is diabetic...so whenever I found something he loved...I bought or made tons of it...he loved Root Beer Floats...so I bought sugar free Root Beer and Ice Cream so he could have it every night if he wanted! Again, I'm thinking and praying for both you guys...it was a tough time for us, too...but it made our "bond" to one another all the much more stronger...and I know it is for you, too!

Thanks for the info on the copperheads today from my post...I did not know that they only grew to 15 inches...that means I killed a grown up snake...makes me feel a little better...but I really wasn't having too much difficulty with the whole thing...b/c I do NOT like snakes.

Blessings...
Teresa

Julie, we are all praying for you and Don and the children. This seems like a long journey but sometimes it does take a lot of time.
Glad there's a new doc. involved now. Praying for something GREAT to happen!

well.. I guess its a good thing that there are doctors who specialize in things! You certainly would want to work with someone who knows what they are talking about and dealing with. I hope he has something wonderful to share with you that your other doctor doesnt know about. i wish you guys didnt have to go through all of these stuff. hugs and prayers!
