Ahhh Bluebonnets...

For those of you who have never been to Texas in the Spring....we have the most amazing State flower called the Bluebonnet.

I am not sure if I love it more because of it's Texas heritage..

..or because of it's extraordinary color..

..but it is the true sign for us that Spring is here and Winter is gone!

I took the family out for some fun pictures before they had to leave..

..and we got so many great pictures...

...it was hard to pick only a few to post!

There are literally fields of these flowers growing naturally..

..and families flock to them for portraits...

...like this amazing portrait of Emily, Daren and Madison!

..and last but not least - here is a Father ~ Daughter shot I thought was adorable!

Wow!
Wonderful pics!!
I haven´t seen this kind of spring since I´ve left Germany. Well, and I think even there it isn´t the same anymore.

Wow, Julie what a beautiful post! The flowers, that lovely baby, the scenery.... everything is just breathtaking... I particularly liked that picture of your granddaughter and you on the ground, amidst the flowers... just lovely.

Have a great day beautiful lady!

What treasures you have made! My Gosh you have to frame some, or upload them into a book or something! The one of Madison peeking through the fence and also the wheel are precious! The one of you and her in the field is beautiful too! So lucky to have this natural landscape right at your back door!

And are their even any words beautiful enough to describe your precious granddaughter?? I love how happy you look with her. Your daughter certainly has a beautiful family and that must make you so happy!
