The Totally Tacky Christmas Tour!

I pray that I do not hurt anyones feelings ...but I thought I would share with you a few things you will NEVER see if you come to visit Equus Villa during the holidays.

I don't care if my husband loves this movie...this puts a capital T on TACKY!

Just because I am from the deep South...does not mean that I think these shotgun shell Christmas lights are adorable.... Who thinks this stuff up??

This is a bull people...NOT a reindeer and outside of being a part of a really great Christmas dinner...it is NOT Christmasy!

I know that some people like blow up snow globes...especially children. Not me.

Umm - my Christmas tree may not be real...but it will never be made out of cans!

....or KEGS!

...OR Aluminum Foil!

...and the saddest sight of all.... a blow up thingy that won't even stay blown up!

This concludes the Totally Tacky Christmas Tour. I hope you all had a wonderful time and no less than one deep belly laugh from my post!

That's one of the things we love most about Texas. It brings a whole new dimension to tacky.

We moved down from New England where people take this stuff a whole lot more serious. It's nice to be away from the Puritanical rules that carry over even to decorating.

Great post..my favorite was the poster on the wall, next to the tree of soda cans. A whole new flavor of tacky.

By the way, I know how anxious you are to find out the winner of my contest..I've posted it..quick go see!

I sort of like the leg lamp...not that I would want it my house though. One of my neighbors has one in their window and I love to drive by and see it. It makes me smile every time. I don't care for those big plastic air filled decorations at all. There seems to be more and more of those every year. There's a lot of tacky Christmas decorations in California too!

I cannot STAND those shotgun shell light strands. What the heck is that about?????? What moron thought that just screamed "Christmas Cheer!"?
My husband would love to have one of those giant snowglobes. So far, I've won that argument. lol
And I'm blushing because I would LOVE to have an aluminum tree. But only for my Star Wars room! I think it'd be PERFECT for in there!! But.....maybe not. lol

Merry Christmas!
Kari

Oh, this just killed me! Thank you so much for the laughs. I can honestly say that I have never seen lighted beer kegs as holiday decor.. not sure I ever will again!

I'm the kind of hombre who passions to seek recent things. Right now I'm manufacturing my hold pv panels. I am making it all by myself without the aid of my staff. I'm using the net as the only way to acheive this. I came across a very awesome website that explains how to build pv panels and so on. The place explains all the steps needed for solar panel construction.

I am not exactly sure about how precise the info given there iz. If some experts over here who have xp with these works can have a see and give your feedback in the site it would be awesome and I'd really treasure it, cauze I extremely like solar panel construction.

Thanks for reading this. U people are great.
