Victoria Magazine

I just received my first edition of the New Victoria magazine. Although I am thrilled that this magazine is being revived and I was one of the early subscribers, I was sadly disappointed with this issue. Especially for a December issue, it is extremely small and not because it was void of advertising.

Normally I am a "Half Full" type of girl, and I have no intention of reneging on my subscription, but I am hoping that the only reason the issue is so minimized is because it is just the first.....fingers crossed here! I did however, LOVE the Tasha Tudor collection of antique clothing!

I thought I subscribed, but I don't think I got around to it. I'll look for a copy on the stands.

Perhaps it will improve.

Hi Julie! I didn't subscribe to the magazine because I wanted to wait and see what it was going to be like. Please stop my blog. I have an award for you to pick up!

Hi Julie,
I've yet to see the new (old) Victoria mag...but I just oicked up th Christmas issue of one of my favourite Canadian magazines and it was also a huge letdown! Tons of ads, and it took until pg 114 to get to ANY Christmas pics!
They are too expensive to be duds...

I agree with you, Julie. The quality just isn't there as it was with the original magazine. Lots of mistakes, unattractive photos ... I didn't at all get that warm, fuzzy feeling like I did with the real Victoria.
