More Fall Eye Candy!

I love fall!..because for us it signals the end of the intense heat of summer. Summer heat, that is so suffocating combined with the humidity that it causes me to worry about our outside animals, especially our aging 4 legged friends. There are but a hand full of trees down here that actually produce the beautiful colored leaves that the North easterners take for granted and even then, they only appear for us under certain conditions. Sometimes I have to create a fall atmosphere and will go to the length of spreading some fake orange and red leaves in my garden beds around the holiday decor - just to add some magic!

I also love Winter, Spring and well - I just try and prepare myself for summer each year!

Hi Julie! You must really love fall :) I wish I felt that way! My Emetephobia really hinders my liking for fall and winter though. I dont think I would mind it if I could get better.

I cannot stand orange in my home and neither can my Pretty Romantic Homes group friends. That is why Celeste painted the pastel pumpkins. Pink is a must for me at all holidays :) Otherwise, I would be even more depressed. Bunnies too of course!

Hugs,
Amy

Boy, I don't know where you find these pictures, but they are a balm to my spirit. I could stare at them for hours and never grow tired of these colors! I'm so ready for fall. I'm barely hanging on by my fingernails just waiting for the cooler weather. I just know it's going to make a world of difference in my attitude of late. lol

I must admit that even though I don't consider myself as someone who loves the color orange, I really DO love it in autumn. Those pictures are pure eye candy, the rooster just glows! I dont like the shorter days but autumn sure does have its beauty.

You really, really do love fall! So do I, and like you, I wish we had more colorful leaves. I live in Alabama, and the hickories, sumac, dogwoods and a few maples turn vivid colors, but there is so much pine that the hardwoods kind of get "lost."
I see you are from Plantersville, Texas. There's a Plantersville right up the road from me.

Living at the beach, makes it hard to really see things like you've shown in your wonderful photos. It's the Fall that makes me really, really miss Nashville.

Hugs!

I am so jealous! I love fall, the autumn colors really work in my home as I have decorated in jewel tones. Unlike Amy, I hate pastels! *grin*
I wish we had more Autumn weather here but I'll just have to live vicariously through you!
