Table Settings Part 3 ~ Center Pieces

Depending on how your serve your Thanksgiving dinner, the turkey may actually be the center piece of your table. If you chose to do a buffet style service though you may consider a bit more table decor and a great center piece will make your guests stop and notice your whole table!

Something fun for a children's table!

TODAY'S TABLE SETTING TRIVIA
It was in the Middle Ages that tablecloths became customary. They became an object of genuine veneration, because they were a mark of a lord's nobility and were only shared with people of the same rank. Most tablecloths were decorated with embroidery and fringes. At the same time simpler tablecloths appeared, for example in some taverns. People wiped their hands on a long piece of cloth laid on the edge of the tablecloth.

I don't know why, but that second picture just DOES IT for me! I love that. I bought a really bright table runner today - I can't wait to put my table scene together for autumn. September 1st is the acceptable date for fall decorating. Isn't that we've all decided? lol
