I went camping last October, and my tent must have been set up in the stopping off point for a HUGE owl. The first time he swooped over our site I thought I was going to lose my scalp. He was ENORMOUS!
Oh, I love these guys. They live in my garden and I adore lying in bed at night listening to their hoots! Edward, however, is not that wild about them.
Julie, sorry I have not been here for a while, but seems like my blog is boring and have lost some followers. Oh well, it's my blog for my thoughts and things anyway. I too love living in the country. Al and I took some pictures of our hummers that nest in the magnolia tree. They are probably about 4 post down by now. The baby owl is adorable and I remember the barn owls when my grandpa had his farm next door. I didn't inherit their gift for growing things, though. Hope Don is doing okay and you also. Love the picture of you with the white dress and pearls. Wish we could go back to that style. I miss that most of all, but I have become a blue jean girl again. Happy Memorial Day. Love and hugs, Pat
