..again I have had a set back. I started to run a low grade fever. Not sure why, but I think that since I also had a scratchy throat, I may have been fighting something off. Anywho - I am -- this close to getting bed sores and I am BORED! I have been working on some craft projects and will post some pics soon.
Just wanted to say HI and thank you to all who have taken the time to ask about me. You don't know how much it means!!!
((((((((hugs))))))))))))

My mom (now 91) became a RN in the 1930's She swears by balsam of Peru and sugar mixed together as a cure for bed sores.
This mixture was used in the wards back in the '30, before widespread use of antibiotics and when patients would be bed ridden for months.
I've never tried it myself, but mom also put it on thrush in my horses hooves. Seemed to work.
Now little missy ... we can't have any setbacks in your recovery! Take good care of yourself ... and see your physician if the temp doesn't drop.
Hi Julie:
Just stopping by to say hi. I hope you aren't coming down with something. Take care.

Just listen to your body and if it that means more bed rest then maybe that's you need. I think as women we push ourselves so hard and then when we are sick it's hard to stop until we are better. Here's hoping and praying for better days, soon, really soon.
I would be like you and start going a little stir crazy. Glad to hear you are getting better...hope there's not much to the fever.
Do you have any fabric scraps? If so have you heard about
Tsumami Kanzashi? They are easy to make.Instructions can be found here . Dot sweat the rice glue. Any fabric glue will do. I use tacky glue.
Take care of yourself, Julie. I hope you're feeling better soon!
Hugs, Susan
