Tomorrow is the day we go and see the new doctor. Our appointment is pretty far away (South of us) and it is early in the morning. It is Don's day off from work and I took the whole day off. After the appointment we are going to keep going South to Galveston for the day.I am not coming back to work until Thursday the 21st. So - just in case you don't hear from me for a few days - please don't worry!
I did go and pick up Oliver, the horse I mentioned in an earlier post. His registered name is Heaven and Earth! He is a doll! Don fell in love with him right away. I can't wait to ride him...kind of see what is under his hood! Maybe on Wednesday I can do that.
Joy adopted a dog...a REALLY REALLY BIG dog! He is a Bull Mastif. She named him Zeus and is a huge baby...although full grown. He is completely house trained and has the best of manners with other animals and people...thank goodness since she has her new house and all!
I took pictures this weekend - of Oliver, the roses I planted over the arbor and I even snapped a few of the youngest lamb - Lourdes. Did not get them downloaded onto the computer though...

Good luck with the new doctor. Hope y'all enjoy Galveston.
Julie, best wishes with the new doctor for Don. I hope things get better. Love the dog and the horse. I miss all of you and hope to get some internet service in the country someday. Have fun in Galveston---it's just so nice there, but still in need of rebuilding after Ike. Love and hugs, Pat
Wish the best for you with the new Dr. Sometimes, a different doc makes all the difference. We spent several months down at M.D.Anderson in 2001 with my husband's stage 4 cancer and they saved his life. We had to go down from OK, but it was worth it. They see 60 patients per day with my husband's kind of cancer and up here they only see about 5 or 6 per year. We stayed at a beach house in Galveston last year 3 weeks before the hurricane and had a great time with the family. And, I can't get enough of your lamb pic at the top of page.
Y'all are in my prayers..I hope you get some words of encouragement with the new doctor. Get some good R&R in Galveston...looks like the weather is supposed to be pretty.
Julie, I hope your trip to the new doctor and to Galveston will be a good one. Hope you get to rest a little.
Joy's dog is cute. My son has the English mastiff...huge and drooly. lol. Our doberman is Zeus, too.
