Yep - Here I am...clinging onto life with all of my might..my arms and legs gripping as hard as I can. The helmet and the chest protector represent the armor of God and the lamb is my life. If I get chunked off into the dirt..well, the armor will keep me from getting killed and I just have to throw myself back into the game!Oh - and that guy in the jersey...I guess he would be my guardian angel!
This morning I had my annual mammogram and an intrauterine ultrasound. I have fibroid tumors. This afternoon Don and I go to his doctors appointment to get his viral load test results.

Hi Julie:
Okay, enough, girl...no more bad news!!! Those are benign I hope.
What a brave girl you are!!! Hope everything goes well this afternoon. I had a large fibroid for years (still do) but as I aged and went through menopause, it got smaller and smaller.
Sending good thoughts your way!
sometimes you leave me speechless. I hope the news for your husband is good. fingers are crossed and prayers went up!
I'm dealing with a weird health situation too.. not ready to talk about it though..
will be waiting to hear read about todays outcome...
((((hugs))))

Fibroids are really common. I hope they're not causing you any problems. I'm praying for good results for Don.
Lots of Hugs,
Susan
Great analogy, Julie. I'm sorry to hear about your health problems. You, as well as Don, are in my prayers. Hang onto that sheep!
Great post! Hold on tigh. The ride might be rough and scary, but God is there in case you feel yourself slipping. I know this personally.
Hugs!
