Once I get back though, Don and I are going to start to plan our 'big' vacation. We only have 1 week...well he only gets 1 week of vacation..I get 6! We have thought about many different options including going on a cruise...but with cruises there are ports to visit and it would drive me crazy if I could not go exploring if Don was not feeling well...and he would probably make himself ill just wanting to do something to make me happy....soooo right now first place vote goes to going to and thoroughly enjoying only one place. Where is that place you might ask??? It is Santorini...a beautiful Greek Island!

I've caught your post shortly after you wrote it .... if it's at all possible, please try to extend your holiday to two weeks! Whatever it takes ..... you will never regret it.

Have been keeping up with your blog through Southern Hospitality. The trip sounds wonderful. We were there about 5 years ago on a cruise. Try to get over to Mykinos (sp) if you can. Also do the mule up the many steps!

From what I've heard over the years, this is a true fairy tale destination and you can't do anything wrong ....
